Welcome to Dog City Bakery, the culmination of years of dreaming and ambitious aspirations. Marcia Lain, founder, embarked on a journey beginning in 2008 to create a haven for dog lovers everywhere. It all began when she started baking wholesome and nutritious dog treats for her beloved Boston Terrier, Molly, right in the comfort of her own home. Marcia’s goal was to provide a healthier alternative to the expensive and artificial dog treats commonly found at big pet-supply chains. Having grown up surrounded by dogs, she was well aware of their nutritional requirements and the potential harm that fillers and additives could cause.

As word spread about Marcia’s all-natural dog treats, friends and family couldn’t resist asking for them and were ecstatic about how much their dogs adored them. Marcia always made sure to have a bag of dog treats ready for anyone who inquired or paid a visit. This overwhelming demand sparked the idea of opening local dog stores in East Cobb and Sandy Springs, Georgia, dedicated to offering natural dog treats to the community. With the unwavering support of her loved ones, Marcia transformed her vision into reality, and thus, Dog City Bakery was born.
